One Million Views ! Thank You.

Well it has been an interesting ride to the 1,000,000 view marker and I hope everyone has enjoyed the various posts along the way.

When I first started this blog ,it was purely for fun and still is.
One of my goals with the blog was to have some contact and interaction with other 'spankos' out there ,  and disappointingly , that has not happened.
Of the 1 million views , comments have been few and far between.
It seems most stop by , look , hopefully enjoy and then move on without even an acknowledgement .

So I have reached a point of contemplation and will have to decide where I take it from here.
I have a number of unfinished pieces to share between now and the rest of the year.

After that I may well bring it all to an end , as the blog does take a lot of time and I wonder  if the meagre return in terms of feedback and interaction is worth it.

I know a lot of great blogs which have become dormant , likely for the same reasons and I guess all blogs reach that point eventually....

  1. Congratulations on a million views, Glenmore!

As a relatively new fan, I do appreciate all effort and creativity in your stories and illustrations. In fact, I'm especially loving the last two 'DD Contract' posts -- a very arousing scenario, as far as I'm concerned!

All the best and hope to see much more, but whatever you decide, thanks for all the spanks!

  3. I agree with CrimsonKing. I doubt the issue is lack of interest in what you are saying and drawing, as evidenced by 1M page views. But, you're not really asking people to engage or interact with you. So, I have no doubt that they appreciate your work, but many may not realize you are asking them to say anything about it.

    1. You may have a point there Dan.I have thought about other ways to present the material , other than a blog, to get more interaction but haven't come up with a better alternative yet.

  4. Congratulations on a million views, Glenmore!

I'm guilty, I enjoy reading your stories and you know I love your drawings but I very rarely comment. I think Dan has a point, maybe encourage readers to interact, whether they enjoyed your stories or what they would like to read.

I hope you don't close your blog but if you do, I wish you all the very best.

    Love,
    Ronnie

Will give it some thought to see if there are some changes I Can make to make the blog more interactive.

  5. I catch every post eventually. I enjoy and am inspired by your work! I think you should do it or not do it based on if you are feeling the need to express yourself, regardless of number of viewers or interaction. Your audience only grows over time anyways, so there will be people you are expressing to.

    1. A very intuitive response Julie , and of course you are absolutely right ( like most wives!).
I'm glad that you and others are enjoying the work and the blog will likely continue as long as it continues to fulfill my expressional needs .

  6. Don't you dare shut this blog down. I am a spanko and my wife disciplines me over her knee as she sees fit. Almost everyday I check this for new stories and have commented on my own situations. So Please keep it up. Robin

  8. I have written about the frustration of the lack of feedback many times. It is just a modern fact of blogging. The other thing to consider is possibly mixing up the nature of your posts a bit to keep things interesting for yourself.

And as Dan said, maybe just wording a post in a way that invites feedback might help too?

    All the best!

    1. Thanks KD. I do recall seeing similar posts by you and other bloggers regarding the lack of feedback. I will be taking your comments and those of Dan and Julie into account and see if there is a better way to present the posts to inspire more of a response.

  9. Very sorry about the lack of feedback! I've only just learned about this blog, so I will definitely see what I can do in terms of feedback, knowing that this is lacking! I've looked through some recent articles and I really like them, so keep them going!
